March 7, 2007: "Phil, I've been listening to your 9:30pm program off and on for the last couple of weeks. I don't have my Amateur Radio License, I just listened on shortwave. Anyway, I just wanted to encourage you to keep up what you're doing. I've been a Christian since I was a teen and I'm 41 years old now and I definitely felt I was hearing a true brother when I first heard your program. Tonight you had to deal with a guy named John, who was very argumentative and difficult to deal with, and I wanted to let you know I think you handled it very well. It's been a blessing to listen to your broadcast. Hopefully sometime I will be able to get my license, some equipment and maybe actually join the conversation and fellowship that you all have on 3905. Be encouraged!" Brett in New York.
March 8, 2007: "There were some guys who seem to need to try to flex their pseudo intellectual muscles and want to impress the rest of us with their apparent Bible knowledge. I guess my question is this: if they are so knowledgeable in the writings in the Bible why then didn't either of them work to have an established activity similar to what you have worked so hard to do with the Spirit Net? I realize that I am a newcomer to the group but I feel very strongly about the validity and necessity of what you're doing. It (the Spirit Net) is very important to me and I feel like it is a personal attack when someone tries to distract you or the Net. What I'm trying to say to you is that, even though you are perhaps used to this kind of behavior, please don't be discouraged at having to fend off these kinds of skirmishes. You have several Bible believing followers and I hope you can see our support in some form or another. Thank you brother for what you do. God will honor your labors. I'm sorry those guys reveled in trying to back you into a corner. You surely projected a much calmer demeanor that I ever could have given the same situation. Hang in there Phil!" It's nice to know we have other Christians trying to use Ham radio as a conduit to reach others. This was the first time I heard the Spirit Net. I normally don't go up on 80 meters too often. I've been praying for guidance and wisdom for my Ham radio outreach called ICE. I believe God was telling me to check out 80 meters and, within a few minutes, I found your net. God's way of telling me to keep going, there are others using the radio to spread the message. I was unable to break through but now that I found your net I'll keep listening. April 16, 2007: "I ran upon the Spirit Net by accident several nights ago. I've been off of HF for sometime. I look forward to erecting a new dipole for 80 later this week and will check in as soon as I can. The net is an inspiration to me. I cannot tell you how much I enjoy listening to it. It has filled a big void in my life. It gives me strength to go on when I'm discouraged. I can feel the Lord's presence when we're on the air. I just wanted you to know that your efforts are appreciated. We have gone through the similar problems so we know about loneliness and heartbreak. You are to be commended for your work with young people. I realize that I need to find a nitch and do more for the kingdom of God. Although I've read the Bible over the years, our discussions and the Lord's revelations have opened my eyes to much new knowledge. I feel privileged to be part of this group. February 17, 2009: "Hi Phil, my name is Jen. I've listened to the Spirit Net a few times but, unfortunately, I am not able to listen as much as I'd like because I am not a Ham operator and I do not always have access to the internet every night. My boyfriend told me about your program not too long after we had gotten together. When he and I first got together, I was going to church pretty regularly and thought I was pretty in touch with God. I've been saved. After my boyfriend told me about your program, I encouraged him a time or two to listen to it and he began to. Since then he has been saved, his prayer life has improved. I just wanted to thank you for doing what you do. So many people use technology for nothing but pure evil and it is good to know there are people using it for the will of God. I was listening to your program the other night especially the topic of possession and I agree with a lot of what you said. Again, I wish I could listen to your program more so keep up the awesome work...even if it seems like no one is listening. All the best and God bless." Jenny in North Carolina.

March 4, 2010: "Sometimes we face situations where people try to offend us due to their ignorance. In the military, I've seen many individuals that did not believe in God and every single one ended up calling the name of God while in the many fire fights we got into. Tonight the reason those guys felt comfortable calling names at the group is because they haven't seen death straight in the face. I spent a lot of time looking for the right group to learn about God and one night I turned the radio on and came across your group. I'm feeling as if I'm getting the right drink of water now. Every night I listen to the Spirit Net my thirst for the word of God grows and for the first time in my life I am able to understand a lot of unanswered questions like the one I asked you the other night.
